Peptide is a compound fragment between amino acid and protein. It is composed of two or more amino acid molecules connected by peptide bond. It is the structure and function segment of protein. Many active substances in the body, such as hormones and enzymes, are peptides in essence. Peptides have strong biological activity, among which small molecular peptides composed of 2-6 amino acids have strong activity.
